Dog Personality? Ten Playful Observation Questions
Use a personality-test format to notice how a dog responds in different situations.

This is a game, not a diagnosis
These questions are not a validated psychological or veterinary behaviour test. They cannot determine breed, intelligence, aggression or training potential.
Ten useful observations
Notice how a dog responds to strangers, rest, new cues, toys, walks, time alone, other dogs, sudden sounds, routine changes and waiting for rewards.

Look for patterns, not four letters
Group observations into social distance, exploration, response to being alone and daily rhythm. Do not treat A/B counts as a reliable personality score.
Respect the dog
Distance does not mean unfriendliness, and slower learning does not mean low intelligence. Do not frighten an animal to complete a quiz. Seek help for repeated barking, destruction or self-injury.
